King of Glory Meta Intelligence
RoV Pro League + 3 more competitions live
Current Meta Snapshot
PandaScore files King of Glory and RoV under one game, but they are two clients: the Chinese King Pro League and the Garena leagues that Southeast Asia plays — RoV Pro League in Thailand, Arena of Glory in Vietnam, and the Garena Challenger Series across the region. The hero rosters and their names differ between the two, so a Thai reader looking up a KPL draft will not find the heroes they know. Matches are 5v5 on a three-lane map: Dark Slayer lane, Mid, Abyssal Dragon lane, plus a jungler and a roamer, and the two neutral objectives the lanes are named after decide most of the macro.

Top Strategies / Comps
Dark Slayer lane and the solo matchup
The long lane is played solo by a warrior or tank who has to hold it without help. Winning it early opens the Dark Slayer objective, whose buff pushes lanes on its own and forces the enemy team to answer.
Abyssal Dragon tempo
The short lane shares its side with the Abyssal Dragon, so the marksman and roamer play around its timer rather than the lane itself. Teams that trade a tower for the Dragon are usually buying the next two minutes of map control.
Jungle and roam as one unit
RoV rotations are faster than the other mobile MOBA on this site; the jungler and roamer move together and the first successful gank often decides which side holds the river. Draft order tends to protect those two picks.
Creator Talking Points
"RoV vs King of Glory — same game, different heroes" explains a confusion that sends people to the wrong guides, and almost nobody has written it in Thai.
RoV Pro League is Thailand’s own league and is covered in English almost nowhere — roster and schedule posts have very little competition.
A Dark Slayer / Abyssal Dragon timing explainer stays useful across patches, unlike a hero tier list that is stale in a fortnight.
Arena of Glory (Vietnam) and RoV Pro League teams meet at regional events; cross-region form is a recurring question with no good English answer.
