Who we are
This notice covers the PaceScore website and its sports scores, esports information and creator tools. For questions about how PaceScore handles your information, contact support@pacescore.co or visit our Contact page.
Information you provide
When you register, we collect the name, email address, username where provided, and password needed to create your account. Passwords are stored as hashes. We also process account preferences, subscription status and activity associated with features you use, such as predictions, cards, referrals and submitted match reports. If you subscribe to esports notifications, we store the email address you submit. Messages to support and any evidence or links you submit may contain personal information. Please do not submit sensitive information or another person’s private information unnecessarily.
Usage information and analytics
PaceScore uses Google Analytics and its own analytics endpoint to understand page visits and interactions, diagnose problems and improve the service. Our own analytics records events such as page views and feature usage with a browser visitor identifier and a session identifier. These identifiers are pseudonymous, not a guarantee of anonymity. Analytics and hosting providers may also process technical information such as IP addresses, device and browser information, referring pages and approximate location, depending on their configuration.
Cookies and browser storage
Authentication uses session cookies to maintain sign-in. We store your theme preference using ps-theme in local storage. Our own analytics uses pacescore_analytics_id in local storage and pacescore_analytics_session in session storage. Local storage remains until cleared; session storage normally ends when the browser session ends. Google Analytics may use its own cookies. You can clear or block cookies and site storage through your browser, although this may sign you out or reset preferences. Clearing an analytics identifier does not delete information already recorded and a new identifier may be created on a later visit.
Why we process information
We process information to operate accounts and requested features, deliver notifications you requested, answer support enquiries, handle purchases, prevent abuse, secure the service and measure usage. Where applicable, the legal basis depends on the purpose: providing a requested service or contract, legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service, compliance with legal obligations, or consent where required. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it; withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.
Service providers, payments and external content
The service runs on infrastructure we operate, and information is also processed by providers that support database storage, email delivery, analytics and payments. Google provides analytics services. Where paid features use Stripe checkout, Stripe processes payment details and we receive transaction references, customer identifiers and payment or subscription status. Do not send card details to our support address. Loading externally hosted logos, images, streams or links can send technical information such as your IP address to the external provider. External services have their own privacy policies. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to address security incidents or protect legal rights.
Advertising and Google AdSense
We are preparing to use Google AdSense; this notice does not mean that advertising is already enabled. When Google ads are enabled, Google and other advertising partners may place and read cookies, use web beacons and process IP addresses or other identifiers to deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud. Advertising cookies may support personalised ads based on visits to this and other websites. Required advertising consent choices will be provided as part of enabling ads. Affiliate and referral links
Some outbound links to partners are affiliate or referral links, and PaceScore may earn a commission if you sign up or buy through them. This never changes the price you pay and does not influence the statistics or results we publish. Links to prediction-market venues such as Kalshi and Polymarket are marked as partner links where they appear; those venues are age-restricted financial products, are not available in every country, and following the law in your own jurisdiction is your responsibility. Nothing on PaceScore is financial or betting advice.
Storage, retention and security
Information may be processed in countries other than your own through the providers used to operate the service. Applicable transfer requirements depend on the provider and processing involved. Retention varies by data type, account needs, provider settings, security needs and legal obligations; we do not currently publish a single fixed retention period for all records. Contact us to request deletion or information about retention for your data. Some records may need to be retained for legal, fraud-prevention or accounting reasons, and backup copies may remain until the applicable backup cycle ends. No online service or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict or object to processing, obtain a portable copy, or withdraw consent. Contact support@pacescore.co to make a request or stop esports email notifications. We may ask for information necessary to verify that the request relates to your account. You may also have a right to complain to your local data protection authority. Browser controls and the Google tools below provide additional choices; these do not automatically erase data already held by PaceScore or other providers.
Children and changes to this notice
PaceScore is not intended for children under 13, and parts of the service are restricted to adults: prediction-market information and the card game are marked 18+ where they appear. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and address it. We may update this notice as the service changes. The date below identifies the latest revision.
